simple plot, excellent charlotte, new found glory, sum 41, the off spring (but not quite).

NOt that I like these bands but
All American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Panic At the Disco are some of the poppy kind. Also, one of the guitar players formed his own band called Angels and Airwaves.
On the more punky side is Rancid (who is really kind of ancient but they are really more tolerable) and Irish punk band from south boston called the Dropkick Murphys, but the two kings of PUNK are most definately The Ramones and The Sex Pistols. They are soley responsible for the sound that Blink 182 is known for. Punk bands are all over the place so definately look around. Also check out SKA, which incorporates horns and organs.
